Here are the Six specific steps
Step 1 — First, remove the screen.
Jolong outward-opening windows come with magnetically removable screens, making removal very easy.
– Gently push the screen inwards.
– Remove it from the window frame.
– Place it on a flat surface.
Wash the screen with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and let it air dry before reinstalling.
Step 2 — Slightly open the window.
Open the window slightly. This allows you to clean the inner glass and the edges of the window frame.
Don’t open it too wide. Leaving a small gap is enough.
Step 3 — Clean the glass.
Use a soft microfiber cloth and a mild glass cleaner.
– Wipe the inside of the glass in a straight line
– Wipe from top to bottom
– Dry with a clean cloth, avoiding streaks
Avoid using harsh chemicals. They can damage the glass coating and weatherstripping.
Step 4 — Clean the Aluminum Frame
Use a towel dampened with mild soapy water.
– Wipe the aluminum frame
– Pay attention to corners and grooves
– Dry the frame after cleaning
Do not use abrasive cleaning tools. They will scratch the powder-coated surface.
Step 5 — Clean the Rubber Sealing Strip
The rubber sealing strip around the window prevents water and wind from entering.
– Wipe gently with a damp cloth
– Check for cracks or loose areas

Step 6 — Clean the Drain Holes
Jolong top-hung windows have built-in drain holes at the bottom of the frame.
– Use a soft brush or cotton swab
– Remove dust or debris
– This ensures proper drainage.
